The Story Behind
Brie's Charcuterie
I started making charcuterie boards in 2020/2021 during the pandemic when no one was leaving the house and we were all going a little stir crazy. Charcuterie boards were starting to trend and I wanted to pick up a new hobby. I started making boards for my parents when they would have a couple of friends over for dinner and they loved the fun appetizer! Then I would start making boards for my friends, then it was for parties, then weddings, and it escalated from there!
I officially started Brie's Charcuterie in 2026 and have become the preferred charcuterie vendor for Coachlight Spa, making boards for bachelorette parties and small events held at the spa. I will also be at the Farmers Market downtown Des Moines this summer, and hope to join a couple of other local markets in the future!
I'm so excited for this new chapter!
I'm looking forward to creating a beautiful board for your next gathering - no matter the occasion! I've got you covered!

Thoughtfully Curated
I've always been a creative person and love to have this outlet to make beautiful boards for my clients. It's a goal of mine to make sure every board is specific to each client, ensuring they enjoy the board with their favorite meats and cheeses.
Quality Ingredients
I hand pick each ingredient that will be on the boards and only use high quality, artisanal ingredients. It's important that I'm ensuring my clients are receiving the best quality ingredients and getting the most bang for their buck.
Locally Sourced
I love to find products that are locally sourced in Polk county and Story county. I get some fresh produce from an urban farm in Story county and use meats from local meat shops.
